Viva Mexico!

May 6th to the 10th:
We enjoyed the warmer weather!
E. explores static electricity in the toy car.
Road building in the block area.
The students worked hard on the piƱata.

Some of the books we read. I made spice sachets to go with "Holy Mole" so the students could explore the ingredients with their sense of smell.  "Paco..." is an excellent alternate version of "Jack and the Beanstalk".
We are still very carefully turning our eggs. Special thank to Mrs. Bemis (our title one teacher) who has helped us with the late day & weekend egg turning!
Thursday was our Teddy Bear Tea.  The younger children (especially my son!) from our town had a great time. The turnout was terrific. Thanks to Windham County Childcare and Sandy Stark for sponsoring and setting up the tea!
Team 5 members enjoy playing some literacy games on Friday.
